You can also sign up for automatic monthly donations of $5, $10, $20, or $50, using the PayPal links below; this is a way for many, many people to get involved and to help out in a very real way, with minimal impact to the individual.
We know that many of you are not in a position to tree-sit or run supplies to the tree-sitters, and calling/writing letters to Maxxam/Pacific Lumber Co. has proven fruitless. We know many of you want to help, and aren't quite sure how, so here's a simple, low-impact way to make a big difference.
The NCEF! Media office rent is $300/month, and our phone/internet is another $100, and then the activist pagers are another $30. We have no grants or foundational funding, so keeping this space open is a constant struggle; the NCEF! Media office is a support base for many activists in the area, giving people a place to check their e-mail, use the phone, make outreach materials, and sometimes temporarily store their backpacks, if they're traveling.
Once the basic costs of keeping the NCEF! Media office are covered, then any additional donations can go towards other needs...no need to say what those needs are...Earth First!

The potential for this support plan is huge, and I know that many of you sincerely want to help, yet have your hands full with all the responsibilities of Life. We understand how difficult it can be to survive and take care of everything and everyone, so we'd like to offer a way for many, many people to participate, in a real way and in a way that doesn't involve getting arrested! We'll still accomodate you if you really want to get arrested for the cause, yet we know that many of you just aren't in that position, yet you are supportive and really want to help save Old Growth Redwood and Douglas fir groves.
